Default Snowbird Questions

Hi,

This year we went to the Canyons and had a great time. Next year we're
considering going to Snowbird. However, the thing I like most about the
Canyons/Deer Valley is that they are close to Park City. There are lots of
places to eat and to stay. I'd appreciate opinions on how it's staying at
Snowbird? Is there a town close by and if so how far away?

Thanks

Yes. It's called Salt Lake City, and is about 40 to 60 minutes away.

IOW, there ain't much development up in Little Cottonwood Canyon.
There's some stuff at the base of Snowbird (and Alta next door) but I
wouldn't call it a town. A couple restaurants, a couple shops, a couple
hotels, some condos. May be enough for what you're looking for, but
it's definitely not a ski town in the sense that Park City is.

Closer to 20, but who's counting?
