Default NRK Petter Interview: Another gear if needed?

Petter is talking with NRK now, they watched his finish sprint where he
explained that he intentionally allowed Axel to get the 15-20m lead
going into the stadium, in order to not have to worry about any skiers
behind him on the final stretch.

To meit sure looked like he was going absolutely all out in order to
finally catch up and pass about 50-60 m before the finish line, but
Petter claimed very seriously that "I had another gear available, but
didn't need to use it."
