Default I started iSki group at Facebook...

It seems that Facebook has recently exploded for the nongeeks of the
world.

So I set up a place for folks to share news/ideas there about "indie
skiing" which in my view is mostly XC. It's a Group called "iSki."

I'm not sure that it's redundant to all the blogs and forums out
there, but we'll see.

I had second thoughts about the name, as being too "big," but people
had already joined and posted so I couldn't change the name. I set up
a 2nd group as iSkiXC, but folks seem to like the first version and
"scope" fine. I mean it to be inclusive of any interesting ski/snow
culture.

(There are actually several iSki groups but some are private and I
guess that mine is the only Common Interest / Activity group. It looks
like FB allows redundant names but I don't know to what extent---maybe
each TYPE of group could have an instance of the same name?)

Jeff, even though I am skeptical about more and more discussion groups
appearing, I give you credit for the cool name... is it copyrighted
already?

My today's google verification word: garbo.
