sierra snow?
I heard on the news that there was a snow storm in the sierras last
week. Is there any skiing to be found at around Donner Pass and/or Mammoth?

Not anymore, at least in Tahoe. There was snow at Auburn Ski Club for about a week, the kids' teams skied a few times. But it was about 70 degrees today, snow's all gone. Great rollerskiing weather, though.
