A little advice please
After years of being a threesome my party has swelled to 4 this year.
Usually at chamonix so driving to differant ares most days.Previously no problem with the car, using the split seat to keep the skis. Now we don't have that seat I have no experiance of the car hire ski racks. Do they hold 4 pair of skis, should I get a ski box, or any other suggestions welcolme. |

Is this a hire car or are you driving to the resort as well? If it's the former I suggest you get a slightly larger car that has an uneven split in the back seat as 2 passengers can fit into the larger 'half' or get a estate car and strap the skis to the middle head rest. If you're driving over then the ski racks do not usually hold 4 pairs of skis, ski boxes are good or just strap the skis to the bars - though depending on arrangement the wind noise can be a bit of a pain. You might be able to hire a couple of pairs of magnetic mounting ski holders - just be careful when attaching and removing them from the roof not to be too aggressive and damage the paintwork. -- Paul S |

in the back on the bigger of the split seats but maybe they just have to be cosy. "Paul S" morespam@nothanks wrote in message ... "Snorer" wrote in message ...
