Thought you might like to know.

Woke early anticipating freshies; so naturally half the snowmansion's
electricity was out including of course the auto coffee pot. Moved the
pot to a circuit still live and screwed with fuses for awhile (yes, the
mansion is old enough to have real fuses, no breakers) but couldn't get
the juice up; so left for the slopes bagging bagels and bacon at the
corner necessity shop for the wife and me.

In spite of my battle with modernity, Ullr and Skadi did their part,
spending the night scattering another blanket of fresh around the
neighborhood. Met VtSkier at Alpine Meadows and we knocked around a bit,
hitting untracked ad infinitum. Untracked is easy when there's literally
almost no one around and 10in of fresh snow and the lifts are running.

In case you were thinking of coming out, we beat all the easy to reach
stuff into submission already - be prepared to hike 4 or 5 minutes for
your untracked on the morrow.

But it will be worth it.
