Most skis shelved.


But this is on of the best periods of the whole skiing season! At
least in Norway. The snow sticks to the mountain sides (i.e. low
avalanche risk), nice slushy spring snow, skinning up the mountain
with no clothes on...

I've toss my hat into the ring to help a friend do research in Greenland.
But that's mostly flat.

Tough choice. Choices. choices.

I'm in touch with Morten and Terje, and right now Oct. 6 is a good
approximation to hopping the Hurtigruten.
