I'm back from Edmonton and my father's funeral, and I'd like to thank
all of you for your support.

While I didn't reply, I did read your messages, and it helped to know
that there were lots of people out there who cared enough to say it.

Shortly I will be back to my cantankerous self, but I do thank you all.

I've been taking music lessons during my retirement, and I've been
practicing the bugle. I hope that at my father's funeral I play the
bugle in front of his friends, family and many of the warriors that
will be sure to be there.

Today, most of the buglers have an electronic bugle that plays itself.
That's not cool. That's not leadership. Be the best and tell others
to be their best.
