Just catching up - thanks for all the positive comments, some of which
I may reply to later. But the good news is I'm now home and in a good state. Physically I'm just limited by the back surgery and general tiredness. Plus the 'corset' I need to wear for three months. Well, we'll see about that ;-) The surgeon has categorically banned any form of back exercise until that time, so I've reluctantly cancelled the 3-week xmas repping slot I had booked in Flaine - I just won't be strong enough. But the leading slot in March I still intend to make, hopefully with some additional skiing before then. It's a low-grade holiday so I won't need to push myself, but I'm confident I'll be fine by then. Anyway, more later, but thanks again for the support. -- Ace (brucedotrogers a.t rochedotcom) Ski Club of Great Britain - http://www.skiclub.co.uk All opinions expressed are personal and in no way represent those of the Ski Club. |
