Default New snow--in April!

I've been staying off the group for a while--I see some of you are still
playing "games". I was hoping you'd out grow that.---Anyway, There is new
snow this weekend on Mammoth and June Mts. on top of a base of 10 to 12
feet. And although we had a week or so of "Spring-like" conditions, the
temps have dropped nicely and the new snow has freshened everything up. This
is last week of operations for June--in spite of the snow pack. --The
internationals have reached the end of their visas and that means not enough
staffers to staff both mountains. Plus "fishmass" is in a couple of weeks
that June Lakes village needs time to get ready. The village makes way more
bucks off of fishing than off of skiing. This coming week is my Spring Break
so I get to ski JM to the bitter end---then it is back to "Old Elephant" for
the rest of the season. With this much snow the season might last into
July.

I was up at Stevens Pass near Seattle yesterday in 12-18 inches of fresh powder.
The best day of the season for me. It was light enough that even tracked up it
was great. It was also the biggest crowd I've ever seen. There was a line on the
chief chair to get up to the backside that was 4 times as long as I've ever
seen, 50 minutes before they opened the chair. Despite the crowds, it was a
truely phenomenal day. Last Tuesday was almost as good. These late season storms
are great.

The lines for the chairs that mostly feed groomer runs were nowhere as long as
ones I was on. This was a powder day for sure.

We've got around 10" light fluffy stuff on our driveway last night,
going to be another phenomenal powder day for sure. With the forcasted
high pressure settling in the NorCal—i.e. sunny, warm, and light wind—
the season's best week is still to come, skiing is definitely not done
yet.

Actually, there is another way. Stop being an asshole. Stop writing
such crap. Stop being a dickless coward.
But since you can't do that, ignore me.

Wow! 10" qualifies as a "phenomenal powder day"? Maybe "good" or "ok".
Phenomenal starts around 30". I've skied 55" overnight. 10" can be
good if it's on top of a week straight of 10" days and there are no
snowboards to pack it out in between. Is that what you meant?
