Train to Mora....questions ??
You'll likely get some real expert advice John, but I'd be very surprised
if you couldn't just get on the train right at Stockholm Airport, and get to Mora, possibly via a Stockholm station. I remember that I went direct, no changes, but I had come in on the ferry from Finland, just after finishing the Finlandia. My Eurailpass was a good deal that year--- flew to Geneva, did some stuff including Transjurrassien, got the train all the way to Lahti, including the ferry from Stockholm, then back to Sweden, thenall the way to the channel to finish the trip with a visit in England, where the pass didn't apply. But 1st class separate tickets for all that probably would have cost about 7 times what I paid for the pass, maybe more. Passes for individual countries, Norway in particular have also been very good deals. Best, Peter |
