Well, depends on where you are, I suppose. If you are in some redneck dinkwater US town, I can see people will look at a rollerskier funny. Then again, they will look at you funny if you don't have a beer belly protruding over a bronze belt buckle. Just remember, you will be in a better shape than them and will probably kick their ass. Don't you think your attitude is somewhat xenophobic?

Get a load of this: I was skiing yesterday through a relatively new
neighborhood (= good pavement) close to my home in central NJ. A 7-8 year-old angel face waved to me and shouted - "Hey, why are you rollerblading on crutches?" There's a "sexy" sport for you...
