more snow than ever - predictions are coming true
it looks like the predictions a few years ago are coming true.
http://www.nettavisen.no/fri/article1588257.ece they said skiresorts over a certain altitude would get more snow in the future where as resports under this would get less snow (and more rain). Hemsedal has never had this much snow ever and Trysil has the best season in 20 years. Local "low-land-resort" Sirdal got 95cm snow in one week.
