Yep
Nearer the Curzon than the Griffin though.

Are you an ex-crow ?

I used to live in Swithland but moved to Wymeswold about nine years ago. I
have family on Hastings Road just up from The Curzon. Our house was next
to The Griffin, Rose Cottage, which was useful at times, but that place
went downhill when Alan B left ! Slightly OT now.....

Well just to bring it back on topic. A group off nine of us who are close
to Hastings Rd. did Soldeu the season before last and we thought it great.
If I could find the time for a cheap passage while the snow is unseasonably
good, I would.

This year we are going to do the French side (Pyrenees 2000 and Les Angles)
partly because I have bought a place out there (see the web-link for
blatant advert).

Good luck
John

p.s. I was also in Wymeswold on Fri for a youngster's birthday party,
another story....
p.p.s the Curzon has changed hands yet again, getting very OT now..

Then, strong winds that have taken away a lot of snow (200 km/h in Cap de
Creus, where the Pyrenees sink in the sea) :-(

Cold here, was very windy. But not much snow until maybe Thursday. It looks
white but there's maybe only 2cm or so.
