Default Nitro "Spectrum"

Hi,

a friend just started boarding this year and now wants to buy his
first board.

A local dealer offers a Nitro "Spectrum" Board for 190- ¤ (240 US$)
but I can not find any information about the Spectrum on the Nitro
Website. I also can not find any review about that board.

Nitro is one of my favorite brands. Is the Spectrum really a Nitro
Board? Has anyone ever heard about that board.

Default Nitro "Spectrum"

My friends and I have twice rented Nitro Spectrums at Lutsen Mountain
on the shore of Lake Superior in northern Minnesota. I, too, tried to
research that board to try and figure out what I was riding. Couldn't
find a thing, but I didn't try very hard.

My group agreed that we didn't like the Spectrum set up as much as
what we had rented else where. Of course that could have been due to
the Switch step-in bindings, the Vans boots (lumpy), the conditions
which tend towards icy. All I can say is that after a season of
renting, the package that contained this board was the least desirable
of the rentals. I have bought since then. My friends will rent
elsewhere when we go back.
