cheap mammoth, CA lodging?
It was impossible to find lodging at Mammoth, CA last Christmas, so I
figure I will book now. Anyone knows of affordable lodging there (affordable is defined as $100 per night)? We stayed in Lee Vining last winter at $70 per night, but it's boring there and it's a 40 min drive to Tamarack. |

cheap mammoth, CA lodging?
Hardy Har! Cheap Mammoth! That's an oxymoron and a hoot! Unfortunately, Lodging in Mammoth is expensive over the Christmas holiday. All I can suggest is Motel 6 (760-934-6660) and Alpenhof Lodge (934-2764). Please note that I have never stayed at either. Motel 6 is Motel 6. Friends have given me good reports on Alpenhof. Book your reservation as soon as possible. Ski Exuberantly, Hank Mammoth Lakes, California sounds like it's going to be 395 for me every day. Alpenhof is $150 a night. |
