It's looking like a Thanksgiving visit to the Banff area this year. Anyone
know if there is generally groomed XC skiing in the Canadian Rockies for
Tday? Anyone know which are the best groomed XC areas?

You do realize that Thanksgiving in Banff is October 11 this year?

They may have the snowmaking started by then at the Canmore Nordic
Center, site of the 1988 Olympics and the current Canadian National Training
Center. That might be a bit early, though.

I'm assuming you are talking about the American Thanksgiving in late
November.

If Canmore does not have snow then (which is likely) Silver Star (near
Kelowna in BC) is about 5 hours away and has an early-season training camp
there.
