Gatineau Park Conditions, Dec 26

Even though the Gainteau Park Web site says 0% of the trails are recommended
for skiing, the Parkway is not bad at all.

I skated a counter-clockwise loop from P10 this morning: up Fortunate
Parkway, Turn left at the "T" on Champlain Parkway, and turned left again on
Gatineau Parkway. Most of the time I was skiing on crunched up ice: fast
but controllable. The Parkway was more icy near the parking lots.
Champlain Parkway down Black Lake was beautiful.

The classic tracks had a layer of powder most of the way.
