Default Skiing in Gatineau Park this weekend!

OK, so maybe not long distances, but...this from the people who maintain the
park:

In an attempt to convince the Snow Gods to give us lots of great snow
throughout the winter, we are having our First Annual Snow Dance this
weekend, October 25th and 26th. On both Saturday and Sunday, we will bring
a small quantity of real snow to the Gatineau Park Visitor Centre, on Scott
Road in Chelsea and create a small practice area (30'X 70'), so that you can
try out this year's Fisher skis ON SNOW! Members of our snow grooming
team, our ski patrol team and our Hut to Hut rental team will be on hand to
talk to you about the coming season. At the same time, you can purchase
your SEASON'S PASS FOR THE COMING SEASON AT PRE-SEASON PRICES.

I just finished a hike in the Gatineau Park. The good news is that there
was a thin film of ice on Lac Bourgeois can the snow be far behind.
