Does Schattie have some kind of tax skeleton lurking in his finance closet? He seems pretty spooked.
Let's just say this: if Schattie files his 1040X with the same degree of accuracy and diplomacy as he posts, the audit (when it comes, and they do come) should be a whole bundle of fun for the poor unsuspecting IRS guy just trying to do his job and extract the right amount of tax from those unwilling to pay for the services they consume e.g. state licencing boards, roads for mopeds, police service etc. I never thought I would feel sorry for the IRS, but they have a job to do, and if they have to go after that $2000 they are owed with guns then so be it. Remember, it was the IRS' tax code that got Al Capone... Suzie -- Suzieflame |
