I would think that its not looking good for my favorite event, the Great
Glen - Bretton Woods 50K, unless there is a massive snow dump in the next
ten days.

Have not been up to the Balsams.

Great Glen is virtually devoid of snow. The only skiable trail is on
the 2K of artificial snow. Could be a very monotonous 50K. Jackson
has decent snow, all things considered, but I doubt that the
rescheduled 30K will go.
