The Balsams is reporting an 8-18 inch base with 52 KM groomed. Has anyone
visited there recently that can confirm the conditions? It seems too good
to be true given the almost complete lack of snow everywhere else in New
Hampshire. It's a long drive from southeast NH, but if it is as good as
advertised, we'll make the trip.

I would think that its not looking good for my favorite event, the Great
Glen - Bretton Woods 50K, unless there is a massive snow dump in the next
ten days.
