Anyone familiar with this group, www.bumpsforboomers.com ? They seem
to specialize in lessons for people like me, middle aged and sticking
too much to groomed runs. They are shockingly expensive, though. So,
before I go I'd like to hear if anyone has experience with them.

Don't know about this particular group, but there's something I'd like
to point out.

Bumps and groomed are NOT the only types of skiing - not even close.
Rather than a bump clinic, I'd look for a western based 3-5 day advanced
skier AKA high performance clinic where they get you off piste and into
some natural snow conditions - bumps are no more natural than groomed.

Unless of course you want to be an elderly Bloom?

C'mon up north. We'll show you how to ski EasternFirm(tm).

LAL shows me a thing or two in the west, but I bet he'd be
following me instead of the other way around on my home turf.
The one advantage LAL has on me is his miles per year. I'm still
(self) employed and don't get to ski every day.
