Default Elan Fusion Bindings

What I'd like some advice on is how to decide wether or not to bias
the boot forward or rearward of the 'centre point'.

I'm not familiar with the Elan bindings, but the Atomic bindings that
had this feature were pretty easy to set. Move the bindings forward for
more control, move them back for more speed, put 'em in the middle for a
compromise.

As far as making the decision, just try them at the different settings
and see which one feels best. It ain't exactly rocket surgery.

Good luck! I've got rental bindings on my Elan skis and couldn't tell
any difference between the extremes. If it matters, they're the
original "shaped" ski.

Theory has it that women should set it so their weight is forward
because that's where our weight is.

Actually, the theory is that women tend to carry excess weight further
back and lower than men, so you move the bindings forward to move the
center-of-mass forward.

See Jeanie Thoren's site (http://www.jeanniethoren.com/theory1.htm) for
more detail. I have no idea what she'd do if Dolly Parton showed up at
one of her clinics.
