How does that tie in with the rule which states: Don't ski with sharp objects
about your person. ?

I originally carried a stubby one in a pocket in the snow cuff at the
bottom of the trouser leg; now I carry a small set in a plastic case, or
when I remember a leatherman (in its leather case). It is amazing how
often I have used them (including adjusting bindings so we can try each
others skis as well as repairs etc.)
