I happen to know that a relatively small cabin at Sjusjøen, without
water or electricity, went for NOK 1.2 M a month ago. That's almost $200
K. :-(

In comparison, the one we owned above Rjukan, with perfect view,
upgraded electrical system, and a lot big enough to build another cabin
or two, fetched $140 K.

However, if you take a look at the Google Earth file I linked to in my
previous post, the skiing at Rauland is IMHO just as good as above
Lillehammer. The total trail length is less, but the scenery is nicer,
and there are more varied skating trails.
