The Lake Placid Loppet has been moved - it is now scheduled for
February 10, 2007. This is not the official announcement, but it is
pretty solid info. The NYS race calendar will be finalized on October
1st, but I figured I'd give the group advance notice.

I've heard a few reasons given for the change - ORDA event scheduling,
more reliable snow cover, more moderate temp's, better karma, etc.
