Hi,

Could you please recommend a good cross-country skiing place with kids
(12+yrs old)
in NY/PA/NH/VT/ME for a few days ?

1) need snow before Christmas (Dec.21-25);
2) lots of trails of about intermediate level;
3) not too boring, so kids don't kill you (smth to do after skiing);
4) some level of comfort (hotels, good restaurants, etc.)
5) not too far from NJ [6-7hrs drive]

Optional: some easy mountain might be good to try it once ;-)

We have been several times to Lake Placid and in Stowe once [was raining 1/2
time]
and liked both.

Is there anything good for XC around Poconos ? Catskills ?
