Hi, we are heading to Lake Tahoe in January. I am from the East Coast
and this will be my first trip to western ski resorts. We are
intermediate boarders and would like the best resorts for long fairly
flat runs. We are staying by Heavenly and were also thinking of
Kirkwood and Squaw. Any help would be appreciated.


Heavenly might be just the ticket if you're not going to be there on a
weekend. It's insane on a weekend there. But there are many long
intermediate runs and they do a very good job grooming. In fact next
time I have a chance to go to Tahoe I'd love to take my alpine rig out
at Heavenly!
