Mr. Rheubarbpielover is blunt but has a point i think.

How many of us have read about 4 hour rollerskis and workouts that are so
long you wonder how they can be accomplished.
Speed might be the US's limiting factor. Jay - and Rheubarb have great
points.

As someone once said "Speed kills. It kills those that DON'T have it."

As for the "endurance can actually f*** up your mind" comment ... I'll admit
my IQ seems slightly lower after 3 hours of double poling.
