Hell I lived there for a year and I ain't no redneck y'all !

Hmmm, gotta figure out what the
Brit equivalent of a "redneck" is.
Yorkshireman?

A Welchman.

Not at all.

Probably a Brummie.

Hmmm, I know what a Yorkshireman is and I know
what Welshman is (Alex for sure, and maybe me
via Ireland), but WTF is a Brummie?

Someone from Brummagem innit ? aka Birmingham.

I don't think there is a UK equivalent of a redneck. We've got all sorts
of strange people and groups with similar single traits, but none that
match well overall.

Agreed, it not territorial and even Chavs and Hoodies have a degree
of self respect

Do Essex girls fit somewhere in the Brit-redneck spectrum?
