One hour (50mins on good run) from Pyrenees 2000 and several other resorts.
Supposedly 1 and a half hours to Andorra but I think its more.

Sleeps 6 in comfort.. New central heating. Nice 'non ski' village of Vernet
Les Bains makes a good base. Non skiers don't need a car.
