Recently read that this weekend's nordic races in Gallivare, Sweden were

Is there a low temperature limit for a FIS sanctioned xc-ski event?

I think it's -20C.

I imagine that keeping people from racing in a Worldloppet race due to cold
might cause a revolution. Shorten the race maybe, delay the start, but not
hold it?

I suppose in a WC event there is an issue for spectators and media people as
well. Do these races get postponed due to severe cold?

When the world championships were in Lahti a few years ago the women's
30K race was cancelled and the men's race 50K was pushed back a few
hours.
