BS! If it was free, no money would need to change hands. Seems the
meaning of free has been diluted over the years. When I hear "free" I
run the other way.

My other peevey favorites:

"By one get one free" ("I'll just take the free one, you keep the
for-pay one.")
"Free oil change" (They don't tell you about the $20 service fee until
it's time to drive away.)
"You won a free inflatable boat!" ("Ok, send it. What? $700
shipping/handling? No thanks.")

Free? Yeah right.
