A renewed search produced the information that folllowing
last year´s race Vasaloppets Veteranklubb had 407 members
(with 30 or more years of either the main event or the
Öppet spår), "including three Norwegians and two Swissmen".


All together now: "...and the last Norwegian victory!":-)
Well, in any case, the *only* Norwegian victory. So far...

That "So far..." wasn´t there for nothing:-)

(It was rather abvious to me that Raul Olle would have no
chance against Aukland; Olle had been powerlessagainst
Myllylä in the Finlandia, losing 30s in the end; even if
it had been only a preparatory race for the big event for
Olle, it shoul´d´ve been a piece of cake for him.)
