Default Going skiing in Charleston, WV

The skiing referred to in the Gladesprings website is at Winterplace
(http://www.winterplace.com). This is small mountain - 600 feet of
vertical - at relatively low elevation (3600'). Snow is unreliable in
mid-December. A better bet in WV would be Snowshoe, which is higher
elevation (4848') and has 1,500' vertical. There will certainly be
more open trails at Snowshoe than at Winterplace.

I am planning on traveling to Charleston, WV in mid-December and would
like to go skiing and did a little bit of research and found this
resort at glade springs http://www.gladesprings.com/ . Can anyone
tell me anymore about this place? It seems like they have a lot of
amenities such as ski, golf, equestrian and spa. It looks like a
really nice place. Have any of you traveled there?
