Hi, i live in wanaka. Cardrona and treble Cone are both approx.
40-60mins drive to the field from wanaka. cardrona is said to be more
of a snowboarding field, it isnt as steep, but treble cone still has
some groomed trails that are godd for learning, cardronas groomed
trails are wider. treble has more off trail places to ride and more
gullys,drop offs, and varied terain then cardrona.both quality. you
might get and idea from their websites which show pics. of the feild
anf their runs. i talked to someone up treble on saturday and they said
that the snow amount at coronet(quenstown) was poor but that may have
changed.
