Default Park City Nordic

A prolonged warm spell has hammered our lower trails. Mountain Dell and
Park City will be out unless we get a big storm. I was at Soldier
Hollow this past weekend and they will be losing about 1/2 of their
30K, if not more (SoHo is about 25 minutes from Park City). There still
will be skiing up at altitude if you have a car and don't mind driving.
Alta in Little Cottonwood Canyon has a 5K system that is not bad and
Solitude has a nice trail system through the woods in Big Cottonwood
Canyon. Both are about 45-50 minutes from Park City and involve driving
down into SLC and then up into the Canyons. Daniel's Summit on US 40,
about 20 minutes further east from SoHo, is mainly a snowmobile area,
but if you get out early during the week after the trails have been
groomed, it is good.

You can ski on all the trail systems before they open (except Alta), so
if there is snow that shouldn't be a problem.

I'm going to Park City next week and I plan to bring my nordic skis. Will I
be able to ski or will all the good snow be gone? Where should I ski at?
Will White Pine Nordic, in Park City, let me ski at 7am when they don't open
until 9am?

Thanks for the info.
