Thanks for the tip, og. I dried all my tears and you were right I don't
feel a thing now. Maybe your knees are just tougher than mine since you're
probably down on them so often. Actually, I haven't been hanging around
here enough to know if you are a kidder, or just a kid. Doesn't matter
though. I'm guessing you're pretty far from being 50. Let's see if you're
still boarding by then... or what other sport you take up when you get
there.

Really, to everyone else thanks for the responses. I was hoping someone
with some previous knee-to-ice experience would have some sort of timetable
on when they might feel normal again. I didn't go into it before but the
orthopedist that I saw for the wrist checked out the knees and no ligament
type damage. Probably bone bruises, definitely not the garden variety
bruise though.

Now og..... go to bed!!!

Quit your crying!! Your knees are bruised. Tape up the cast and get
back out there. It's a tough sport and you don't have that many years
