It is off season now. Well we had 15cm (6") snow in the
laurentians this week but it is probably gone by now. Here
is my off season request for information.

Car roof ski boxes were made of ABS. Is it still so?
How much should i fear abs exposure to the sun. What do
you used to protect the ski box? Armor-all, 303. I know
armor-all is damagable to some materials like Latex. Is it
ok for ABS? I used 303 for years. How about McNett
protector for canoes? Armor-all and 303 are widely available.
Something else?

A more general question. Old (10+ years) black ski boxes
tend to turn whitish. Is this plastic degrading into some
kind of powder?

Anyone know of a brand of shallow and long (210 cm skis)
brand of ski boxes. With mosts ski boxes and my current
car i cannot get into the garage. I checked when i boutht
the car 3 years ago, maybe something new appeared on the
the market since then.
