moments before the start if necessary.

The Binding system, developed with input from Olympic alpine athletes,
is available in a limited release for Winter 2007-08.

This is the second "klap" binding/boot system we've seen for skiing.
The other, which I think goes under the name of Casco, or at least
will be sold by the same company in the USA, has apparently already
been used with some success in some races. Search Nordicskiracer.com
for it. (It lead to a rehash of the double-push, as I recall.)

Makes me love classic technique all the more. Okay if you want to
call me a retro-grouch. I'm already there.
