The Giro Omen Helmet is the most technically advanced helmet Giro has
ever made. Omen offers all the exceptional freestyle protection you'll
need for flying in serious competition venues. The fourteen-vent
design features high-impact ABS zones with a lightweight in-mold EPS
liner. Unlike other Giro helmet designs that feature Weatherstrip vent
plugs, the Omen has a Thermostat control with a low-profile
ventilation control button. Thermostat control buttons are considered
among the easiest and fastest vent system adjustments currently
available for ski and snowboard helmets. The proven in-mold
construction joins a tough polycarbonate exterior shell with an impact-
absorbing foam liner for enhanced protection without the headache of
extra ounces. A contoured goggle notch along the outside of the Omen
helps channel the goggle strap so you don't have to mess with
repositioning your eyewear after a tough landing (use the snap-closure
security loop in back of the helmet to keep your goggles with you
during a big fall). If you do decide to upgrade to a Giro wired or
wireless Tune-ups system, this version of the Omen is completely
compatible...
