Was at ABasin again today. The weather was not as good as it has been,
mostly cloudy skies, temps right about freezing so the snow never
really softened up. As mentioned earlier I didn't have a great day
there yesterday so I was encouraged when, as I put my helmet on and
switched on my tunes the first one out of the box (I have a six gig
playlist on shuffle) was Fishbone doing their loving rendition on Sly's
"Everybody is a Star" followed by a very young Mick Jagger telling me
"You Can Make it if You Try".

Mick was right, I tried and had a decent day. I actually found some
pretty nice sugar to pad my turns in a few places. The Basin was
downright empty today, the Early Riser lot never got more than a third
full.
