If anyone is looking to snowboard in France in February, don't forget
that the French school holidays run from 09/02 until 09/03. Other
European countries have the week of 16/02 including the UK (both 09/02
and 16/02). You may therefore find that availability is quite limited
for
that period.

We have had last minute cancellation on a luxury self-catering chalet
sleeping 17 in Les Gets, Portes du Soleil for 09-16/02 and a number of
other chalets sleeping 10 in Les Gets, Samoens (Flaine) for
16/02-23/02. These resorts are just one hour from Geneva airport hand
have large ski areas. Also in Les Deux Alpes and Saint Martin de
Belleville (3 Vallees).

If you don't have to go in February, French ski resorts are fairly
quiet this month (before 02/02) and will be great again in March
(except 22/03 which is another holiday week).
