Default Fernie

And when it does dump two feet of perfect poweder, it can take them an
oddly long time to get everything open again.

IMO, the mountain is also cut up kinda weird with too many runs taking
you all the way back down or forcing you to do soem interesting uphill
cattracking if you are not careful.

A fun trip but then it is probably closer for me than the OP.

YMMV.

Hello skiers, i have just booked a 5 night getaway at the Kimbers
Timbers at Fernie for dec7 to the 12.

I am very curious on the early conditions in the last few years. If
any one could give any info on the great runs to take...etc....

Fernie can be really unpredictable. When its good, its amazing. Bordering
on heli ski quality. But it can dump 2 feet of perfect powder one day and
pour rain the next.
