Package type deals

Outside of school holidays, I would wait for the operators to announce the
last minute deals (often released 6 weeks before departure).

Personally, I have booked flights (£700: LHR to GVA via FRA)...

When does skiing tend to start in germany / austria?

Stubai, Hintertux and Kitzsteinhorn are all a "couple of hours" from Munich.

Often by mid to late October the glaciers have fully opened - not just the
couple of runs they try to keep going during...
