Single-camber skis for homemade trails?

Double or one and a half camber are best for kick and glide; single
camber doesn't glide so well (since more of the base is in contact
with the snow) but turns better.

But in soft snow your wax...

Strikes me that when you look at Alpina NNN BC they've been getting
lighter rather than heavier. Maybe they're leaving the beefy field to
