Toblach/Dobbiaco has a huge amount of skiing and a wide choice of
villages to stay in. I have no idea how its early snow is. Some of the

Chariot baby carrier
Thanks for these.
Perhaps 20lb of backpack will help flatten my too-stiff classic skis;
or perhaps the Chariot will expedite my conversion to ski-walking.
Another trip to REI is needed.

OT - PAL European VHS conversion to US VHS
I have done this a few times. What I do is:
1. Enlist a friend with a European combined VHS-DVD recorder (such as
my mother).
2. Get them to copy the VHS to DVD. This will not play in a US DVD
