Rollerski pole tips durability problem on offroad
I ski on offroad V2 Jenex in park on the ground, but should go there on
asphalt. Plastic on my Swix tips abraded around the ferrules after only
100 km, and finally one ferrule just fell out. What...

I've never seen people trying to stiffen their boots in the winter time.

How much force on each pole?
Offhand, I'd think it to be about the same as paddling: maybe 5-10 lbs.
I'd think about 4-5 times higher. And I'd estimate paddling forces as
being higher than 5-10 lbs (2-5 kg) too.

I agree. The stiffer are the boots for skate rollerskis the better. I
made my salomon pro combi boots stiffer with scotch and duct tape
wrapped around the boot with many layers. They are not as good...
