Salt Lake City snowboarding recommendations

Hi,

We are planning to go to the SLC area on the week before Presidents day
2007. We are a group of 6-8 people. Most of us have our own gear. We
are looking for recommendations of where to stay and where to ride. We
have heard/read great things about snowbird and solitude. With our
numbers does it make sense to rent a lodge or such around the area or
should we stay in SLC? So far I have not been able to find lodging
under 70 $ per night per person.

Any recommendations would be very helpful.

Thanks,
Em

I started a recent thread about SLC because I am going there as well --
check it out. Not much about lodging, but lots of information about
where to ride.
